Veolia Environmental Trust is running the Cre8 funding challenge. The challenge is offering four grants of up to £300,000 each, to schemes that best meet these objectives:
* Involving volunteers
* Bringing generations together
* Involving the community
* Helping improve health and well-being
* Leaving a legacy
* Benefiting all sectors of society
* Allowing those involved to develop new skills
* Being fun.
Schemes must be within 10 miles of a licensed landfill (active or historic) and meet ENTRUSTs guidance for public amenity projects. If you are interested in applying you need to email your project's postcode to the Veolia Trust. If you are eligible to apply you will be sent an expression of interest form.
The deadline for submitting expression of interest forms is 1 December 2010.
