Two interesting organisations which can help young people to set up their own projects are ITV Fixers and Junction 49.

ITV Fixers is from the Public Service Broadcasting Trust, with the support of v and the Nationwide Foundation. They are working with ITV regions across England to here to help 16 - 25 year olds tackle problems they are concerned about. They will provide project support and can also offer some funding. They can also help young people reach out to a wider audience through their online channel.

You can view the ITV fixers website here, or can call them on 01962 670 370 or email them at: talk2me@itvfixers.com

Junction 49 offers support to young people, aged 14 - 25, who want to set up projects in their communities. You post your project idea onto a messageboard - a Junction 49 helpdesk adviser then replies to you on the message board, offering ideas and suggestions and links to other Junction 49-ers who have set up similar projects. They also offer some signposting to possible funders for projects (don't forget that SYFAB can also offer face-to-face support around funding your project).

You can view the Junction 49 website here.
