South Yorkshire Community Foundation is inviting groups that are making a significant difference to the voluntary sector to apply for a grant from the new SYOF Legacy Fund A. Grants of £1,600 to £7,500 are available for voluntary, community or faith-based organisations based in, and operating in, South Yorkshire.
Priority will be given to groups and projects that:

•  Aim to improve governance and leadership within the Third Sector

•  Bring communities together in order to enhance their voice and capacity to influence.

The funding has been provided as part of the legacy funding from South Yorkshire Open Forum (SYOF). Applicants must demonstrate: the benefit of their proposals to South Yorkshire communities; how the grant will enable the organisation to make a significant difference; and how members of the group are involved in decision making.
Funding can be provided for anything which can be shown to be needed to achieve the specified outcome, including: training, travel expenses, staff costs, other core costs, equipment, continuation funding and pilot projects.
