The Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE) is offering grants of up to £20,000 to social firms that provide care services for adults in England. The grants, from the third cycle of the SCIE's Get Connected scheme, are to be used to improve ICT access for the social firms' users and staff members.

All bids must focus on how this improved access will enhance the quality of life offered by the service and/or how improved access will enhance the learning, training and development of service users and staff members.

Before applying, applicants must submit an expression of interest form by 10 September 2010. The deadline for full bids is 19 November 2010.
