New Horizons is a government funding programme which aims to:

•  improve the mental health and the well-being of the population

•  improve the quality and accessibility of services for people with poor mental health.

Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council, in partnership with the Mental Health Partnership Board, is inviting proposals for projects that will help promote better mental health and embrace the key themes of New Horizons. Innovative approaches are being looked for which will aid the delivery of the Joint Mental Health Commissioning Strategy 2010 -2013.
Funding of up to £3,000 is available and the deadline for the proposal is Wednesday 15 December 2010 at 15:00.
