SYFAB:New £1m fund for poetry and literature for young people

The Clore Duffield Foundation has launched the Clore Poetry and Literature Awards for poetry and literature initiatives for children and young people, under the age of 19. The Awards are worth a total of £1m over five years, 2011 to 2015, with individual awards ranging from £1,000 to £10,000.You can apply for funds for participatory learning projects and programmes focused on literature, poetry and creative writing.
The awards are open to:
- Schools and colleges
- Professional literature, poetry and creative writing organisations, and libraries
- Other arts/cultural organisations
- Established community groups
- Not-for-profit organisations
Round one closes on Friday 20 May 2011.
