Capital and revenue funding is available from the National Hockey Foundation to support the development and growth of hockey.

The Foundation focuses on the following areas:

• Young people and hockey
• Young people and sport in Milton Keynes
• Enabling the development of hockey at youth or community level
• Smaller charities

There is an emphasis on funding for young people and grants are usuallly given to organisations working with people under 21 you should be able to specifically identify the part of your project costs which solely support the development of young people.

Grants are from £10,000 - £75,000.

You can download an application form and guidelines from the website. There is also a grant indication form which you can use to check the suitability of your project.

The trustees meet four times a year, the dates of the meetings are available from the website. You need to send your application five weeks ahead of a meeting date.
