The Increasing Skills in Social Care fund from the Children's Workforce Development Council (CWDT) opens for new registrations on 20 September 2010.
The fund is for independent, private and voluntary social care organisations to access funding for their staff to gain the following qualifications:

•  Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce (Children and Young Peoples Social Care Pathway)

•  NVQ in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) at level 3

•  NVQ in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) at level 4

•  NVQ in Leadership and Management for Care Services at level 4.
