The next deadline for the Department for International Development's (DFID) Global Community Links grants is 1 November 2010.
The programme aims to develop the understanding of global development issues and funds community groups in the UK which have a link with a community group in a developing country. You must be a UK based community group in order to apply. Grants of £1,000 - £2,000 or £7,000 - £10,000 are available (smaller grants are for one-off activities, larger grants are for a series of related activities). Link groups need to be on the list of eligible counties which is available on the DFID website here.
