The European Commission is calling for proposals for support for information measures relating to the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP).

One of the priorities is explaining the importance of the CAP to people, particularly young city dwellers, and highlighting that the CAP maintains production capacity in order to ensure food security, facilitates land-use planning, promotes socio-economic dynamism in rural areas, preserves the countryside, rural heritage, nature and biodiversity and responds to the challenges linked to climate change.

The deadline is 5 November 2010.
