Grants are available to community radio services through the Community Radio Fund from Ofcom. Grants are for the core costs of community radio stations and can only be made to licensees who are broadcasting under a community radio licence, and not an RSL for example.

There is no maximum amount which can be applied for, but applicants are advised to look at previous amounts awarded as a guide (the average grant amount in the last funding round was £14,902).

Applications will open on 12 October 2010 and close on 9 November 2010.
