SYFAB:Changes to SITA Trust programmes
08 September 2010
The SITA Trust has made some changes to its funding programmes:
- The Enhancing Communities, Small Grants Scheme has changed its name to Enhancing Communities, Fast Track Fund. The maximum time applicants will have to wait for a funding decision is 60 days from the application deadline date. The Fast Track Fund will offer grants of up to £10,000 towards projects with overall costs of no more than £20,000.
- The qualifying areas for the Young Person's Volunteering Fund have been widened. Youth groups across England and Wales within 10 miles of a landfill site owned by any company can now apply for up to £10,000 funding.
- The Enhancing Communities, Large Grants Scheme has been renamed Enhancing Communities, Core Fund. The lower limit that applicants can request has been changed from £10,000 to £1. Applicants can now ask for up to £50,000 towards a project costing £250,000 or less.
