The British Ecological Society runs an annual competitive award scheme to support projects that raise awareness of the importance of ecology. The Public Engagement Grant is open to individuals and organisations, including schools, libraries and museums. The maximum award is £2000, but it can be used as part-funding for larger projects involving other sponsors.

You cannot use the grant for salaries or for buying general equipment (unless essential to the application).
