SYFAB:ACTOR reminder
08 December 2010
The Skills Funding Agency has issued a reminder that organisations who hold contracts with the Chief Executive of Skills Funding, and who wish to bid for funding from the Agency for 2011/12, must complete an Initial Invitation to Tender (ITT) by 31 December 2010.
The three ITT areas you can be considered for funding for in 2011/12 are:
* The adult single budget (adult learner responsive, apprenticeships, train to gain and programmes for the unemployed)
* Adult community learning
* Learners with learning difficulties and/or disabilities.
The Skills Funding website states: "Please ensure that your organisation completes and returns ITTs for all those programmes for which you wish to be considered for funding in 2011/12. As of Friday 19 November 2010, only 3% of organisations with contracts in 2010/11 have submitted a tender for funding in 2011/12."
Organisations who are not already on the Approved College and Training Organisation Register (ACTOR) and who wish to bid for funding in 2011 must complete a Pre-Qualification Questionnaire and and ITT by 31 December 2010.
