Screen Yorkshire has announced a new £15 million fund for investment in creative content in film, television, video games and the digital sector within Yorkshire and the Humber. The Yorkshire Content Fund, which is managed by Screen Yorkshire, will invest in Yorkshire-based companies and will also be used to attract productions looking to locate within the region.

The fund has secured over £7,500,000 million of investment from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), which will be further matched by private sector investors on a project-by-project basis. This will result in a total of £15 million invested in content production in the region over forthcoming years.

The fund is now open to applications. Those wishing to apply must first complete an Expression of Interest form, which can be found on Screen Yorkshire's website here.
