Sheffield City Council has received an allocation from the Department of Education (DfE) to deliver capital projects that support access to short breaks and wider services for disabled children and young people. Grants of £5,000 - £15,000 are available for projects and can be used for any capital expenditure (for example, the acquisition or enhancement of fixed assets such as buildings or equipment).

Capital funding under this programme can be used either to facilitate access to short breaks, or to enhance access in general terms for disabled children and young people.
