SUBWAY® sandwich retailer has partnered with Heart Research UK to offer grants of up to £10,000 through Heart Research UK.
Projects must actively promote heart health, not just healthy lifestyles. Each region of the UK has a specific period in which to apply. The deadline for Yorkshire is 31 May 2011.

Heart Research UK also offers Healthy Hearts grants, also up to £10,000, for projects promoting heart health. Examples of the types of projects that have been supported include cycling projects for people who are visually impaired and circus skills workshops for teenagers.
There are two rounds per year, in May and November.
Deadline: Applications for the November round can be submitted during July and August 2011 with a closing date of 31 August 2011.
