Meet the Funder Event with Coalfields Regeneration Trust to discuss the Level 1 Community Grants programme:

Thursday 25 August 2011, 11:00 - 5:00

Venue: Voluntary Action Barnsley, The Core, County Way, Barnsley, S70 2JW
Appointments must be pre-booked. For a half hour slot on the day you will need to contact Ann Moffatt at Voluntary Action Barnsley to reserve a place, by telephone, 01226 320114, or email.

If you would like a one-to-one with Anne Hammond from the Coalfields Regeneration Trust (CRT) you will need to complete a project enquiry form which will be sent out to you on booking and email it to anne.hammond@coalfields-regen.org.uk BEFORE the event to give her an idea of who you are and what you would like funding for. This is NOT part of the application process.

If you can, please bring along the following documents:

• Your signed constitution/governing document
• Your latest original bank statement or building society pass book
• Your last signed off end of year accounts - if they are less than 12 months old you will need an income and expenditure forecast which we can help you with.

CRT has a Level 1 Community Grant programme where not for profit groups can apply for grants of £500 - £5,000 for revenue and capital projects. See the attached list of eligible former coalfield wards in Yorkshire here - Yorkshire Region Eligible Wards

The turnaround for a decision is 12 weeks with 12 months to run the project.

In the last round of funding 350 groups successfully applied for £1,864,317 in Yorkshire for projects such as childcare places, youth projects, tea dance groups, improvements to facilities, coach and referee training, equipment, breakfast and afterschool clubs, holiday activities, dance and drama productions and many, many more.
