The Yorkshire and the Humber Rural Network in partnership with North Yorkshire Rural Voice, RISS, Rural Partnership Plus and the South Yorkshire Rural Network are running a series of events across Yorkshire and the Humber in March, on the Localism Bill.
Events will run from 12:00 - 4:00 (free networking lunch 12:00 -1:00)


9 March - Sledmere Village Hall (Sledmere, East Riding)
10 March - Queens Hall (Burley in Wharfdale, West Yorkshire)
15 March - The Rope Walk (Barton, North Lincolnshire)
16 March - Mapplewell & Staincross Village Hall (Barnsley, South Yorkshire)


The localism events will:


• Provide information and knowledge on the Localism Bill
• provide information on three key areas, the Right to Buy, Right to Build, Right to Challenge
• Present the opportunities available to rural voluntary and community sector (VCS) groups
• Give VCS groups the space for discussion on ways of working together to provide action on the opportunities.
