Investment in woodfuel technology is available through CO2 Sense, to businesses, business support organisations, consultants, community groups, public bodies and other companies in Yorkshire and the Humber.

Projects from suppliers of woodfuel or from organisations who wish to use woodfuel heating systems, convert existing systems or carry out a feasibility study may be supported.

Funding can cover revenue and capital costs. It will be offered on a revenue share basis, where the funding is repaid to CO2Sense over a period of time, through an arrangement which relates to the success of the project.

You need to complete a short online application first to see if you are eligible to make a full application.

The deadline for applications is 28 April 2011.
