SYFAB: Home Office announcement on knife, gun and gang crime funding

The Home Office has announced a range of funding to help tackle knife, gun and gang crime. This includes:
- Communities against Gangs, Guns and Knives fund - £4 million funding for local voluntary organisations to stop young people being involved in knife and gang crime
- £250,000 funding for the Ben Kinsella fund, to enable young people to apply for grants to run anti-knife crime projects in their local area, for a further year.
The funding will run from April 2011 until March 2013.
