Funding is available through the Heroes Return 2 programme for WW2 ‘active service' veterans who would like to attend commemorations in the UK or overseas.

Grants of £150 - £5,500 are available, depending on the number of people taking part and the destination.

Funding is also available to pay for carers and spouses to travel with the veteran. Widows and widowers of veterans are also eligible to apply.
