The Green Energy Trust from Scottish Power offers capital grants for up to half of the cost of the technology for renewable energy projects. Projects must have a strong community benefit and an educational element. The maximum award is £25,000.

The Trust meets twice a year, usually in early April and October. Applications should be received at least seven weeks before the meetings to be screened for eligibility and completeness.
