If your community, voluntary or faith group has a project and wants to make a difference in the North East Community Assembly area (Firth Park, Burngreave, Southey and Shiregreen / Brightside Wards) then you can apply for the following grants:

Small Grants
Small grants are targeted at small local voluntary, community and self-help groups that promote the wellbeing of people and communities at risk of social exclusion by providing activities in a group-based setting. Downloadable documents can be found at: http://www.sheffield.gov.uk/northeast

Deadlines: 5:00pm, 12 September and 31 October 2011

Funding for Festivals and Events
Groups applying for a community festival grant should be locally based and involve local people in their organisation. Groups should be located in and operate within the Community Assembly area. The maximum grant that you can apply for is £500 for smaller neighbourhood festivals, or up to £2,000 for big festivals that expect an attendance of 2000 people or more.
