Round four of the Get Connected scheme opened on 31 January. The scheme supports capital expenditure on information and communication technology (ICT) in adult social care to extend personalisation. This final cycle of the of the scheme is for private and voluntary sector adult social care providers offering services in England and registered with the Care Quality Commission, Financial Services Authority, Charity Commission or Companies House.

Applicants must meet one or both of the following priorities:

 

•  Improving access by people who use services, carers and staff to ICT to enhance the quality of life offered within the service

 

•  Improving access by people who use services, carers or staff to ICT that will support their learning, training and development.

The deadline for expressions of interest is 25 March 2011.
