The National Council for Voluntary Youth Services (NCVYS) has published ‘Funding guide for workforce development'. The guide is free to download and is aimed at employers, training providers and learners who work with children, young people and families in the voluntary and community sector.

The guide has the following sections:

• Low and no-cost alternatives to support learning and development
• Funding schemes for training providers
• Funding for learners
• Future funding and developments.
