The Home Office has noted on its website that in August 2011, the Community Action Against Crime: Innovation Fund is due to open.

This £5 million fund will be used to encourage better community activism, to help enable communities to develop innovative approaches to tackling local crime issues that are important to them.

Application materials will be available shortly on the Community Safety Partnerships area of the Home Office website:

A further £5 million has been set aside for funding in 2012-13.
