The annual Centre for Social Justice (CSJ) awards are open; they give recognition to small voluntary groups, charities and other local projects who are fighting poverty in the UK. Cash prizes of up to £10,000 are available. Projects should "display innovation and effectiveness in addressing the causes of poverty, turning lives around and reversing social breakdown."

The deadline for applications is 31 January 2011.
