SYFAB: Big Tree Plant
16 December 2011
There is a further deadline for the Big Tree Plant, a scheme from the Forestry Commission to support community groups to plant trees in neighbourhoods where people live and work.
The trees must be planted in places that are open to all to visit or where local people will benefit from them. Whoever owns the land must give permission and support to the project, and there must be a plan to care for trees after they are planted.
The Big Tree Plant Funding Scheme strongly recommends that you contact them to talk through your project before applying.
Deadline: next one is 14 March 2012
