SYFAB: Big Tree Plant

The Big Tree Plant is a scheme from the Forestry Commission to support community groups to plant trees in neighbourhoods where people live and work.Grants can be used for a range of purposes including:
• Community involvement
• Site surveys and expert advice
• Trees
• Planting materials
• Labour
• Tree care and maintenance.
Grant amounts range from £500 to £25,000, although this could be higher in some cases, for example a city wide project.
