The Arts Programme from the Baring Foundation is now open for applications. The programme supports creative arts projects that work with older people in the UK to "link different types of residential care settings into the community".

Around 15 arts organisations will be supported. The maximum grant available is £30,000.

The fund is open to constituted, not for profit arts charities or arts community interest Companies based in England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland that have an annual income in 2010-11 of £100,000 or more.

For this project, arts organisations must be working in partnership with a residential or day care setting for older people.

It is recommended potential applicants read the Arts Project Programme Guidelines before making an application. There is also a helpful publication Ageing Artfully, available on the Baring Foundation website, which gives an overview of age inclusive arts.
