Further to our July posting on sported. which you can read here, this funder has been in touch with us to flag up the impending deadline on 30 September for their small grants of up to £2,000.This funding programme is targeted at smaller groups with an income of less than £50,000 who are running community projects.
Groups should demonstrate that they use sport and physical activity to change the lives of young people (aged 11 - 25) and develop communities with the aspiration to:
• Reduce crime and antisocial behaviour
• Build stronger communities
• Remove barriers to participation
• Develop young people's life skills to enable them to reach their full potential
• Improve health and well-being.
Organisations need to apply for free membership prior to submitting a registration of interest.
