SYFAB - Climate Change Grants
06 July 2010
Climate Change grants are available to Sheffield organisations through the Community Assemblies. Grants from £500 - £40,000 are available to support projects which reduce the potential for climate change.
Not-for-profit organisations, social enterprises and public sector organisations working with these groups are eligible to apply.
The deadline is 13 August 2010.
Grants can be used to improve energy efficiency in buildings e.g. insulation, draft proofing, new windows and doors, or for renewable energy measures such as solar panels, biomass heating and wind turbines.
Grants can also be for reducing carbon emissions through for example, providing water butts and compost bins or setting up community cycling schemes.
For more information and application materials see the Sheffield City Council website here.
