A former ex-serviceman, leaving the army in 2004 after 23 years, my first civilian employment was as a Training Manager for NETT Training based in Sheffield delivering Adult Work Based Learning (WBL).   After a short spell, promoted to General Manager and overseeing the delivery of all programmes on two sites.   Leaving NETT in 2007, saw an opportunity arise at VC Train as Quality Manager and after an interview process was selected to take up the post in May of that year.
 
I am married to Caroline and have two grown up children, Carrie and Darren, and enjoy a variety of activities outside the work place including playing football, motorbikes, fitness and anything that gives an adrenalin rush.
 
My hopes for the future are to remain healthy, support my family and enjoy life to the full.
