The Department for International Development (DFID) Global Community Links grants programme, mentioned in a previous blog in early January, has now been put on hold pending a review of the funding and work.

No new grants will be awarded, including the grant round that was launched on 5 January 2011, with a deadline for applications of 14 February 2011. You should not submit applications for Global Community Links grants for the time being.

(Global Community Links gives grants to community groups, which have a link with a community group in a developing country, to develop the understanding of global development issues.)
