Government funding is now available for independent sexual violence advisers (ISVA) services in the voluntary and community sector and in sexual assault referral centres (SARCs) for the four year period.

ISVAs help victims of sexual crimes get access to the services they need. To be eligible for the funding ISVAs must provide a victim-focused, independent service, distinct from the role of crisis worker or counsellor.

The maximum amount you can apply for is £20,000 per organisation per year (for four years). Priority will be given to applications that can demonstrate some degree of match funding.

Applications close on 4 February 2011.
