A reminder that the deadline approaches for applications to the Department of Health's Financial Assistance Fund. Applications close at noon on 19 January 2011.
This is the fund intended to support organisations that can demonstrate that the financial hardship they are experiencing will significantly affect their ability to do one or more of the following and that they have no other sources of funding available:

•  Contribute to the delivery of DH objectives which no other organisation could provide in the short to medium term

•  Deliver health and/or social care activity and/or support which no other organisation could provide in the short term; and that there will be a considerable knock-on effect on other front line services if the organisation ceased to exist.

All funding must be committed before 31 March 2011.
