Chris, having left school at 18 and turning down a university place to start work, went to work for Sheffield City Council.  After being bored to tears , she returned to college and started a career as a Legal Secretary and book keeper.  After buying and selling hundreds of houses (claim to fame -  bought Tony Christie's house for one of Def Leppard), decided to retrain in the field of adult education.

By 2000 Chris had achieved the Certificate in Education and Cert TESOL, and also managed to fit in becoming a qualified Assesor and Verifier, for several qualifications from entry level up to level four.  Chris worked for 9 years in the private training sector before finally coming to her senses and joining the VCF sector, working for SOVA on a programme to help offenders and ex-offenders.

Chris joined VC Train in October 2007 and has never looked back. 

Her best achievements to date are her children and grandchildren and her worst moment was the day Donny Osmond got married.
