The Big Lottery Fund is set to launch a new £200m grant fund, Big Local, for local community groups.

BIG has chosen 50 geographical areas to receive £1-2m each and this will operate in a similar way to the FairShare scheme in that it will focus on areas that have, in the past, been underfunded by BIG.
